A River Poem By Grandfather Arthur E. Veach

A River Poem By Grandfather Arthur E. Veach

Unpublished

The mighty, roaring river has a source
The God of heaven destined its’ course
Mid hills and valleys, racing to the sea
To bless all his people, ‘twas meant to be

So many have abused that river great
Let’s have a change before tis to late
So many polluted in a thoughtless way
Endangering the health in a later day

Should unborn children be forced to pay
For the thoughtless one’s who live today
