The internationally-beloved folksinger and activist, often called the father of American folk music, was a major influence and inspiration for generations, not only for his music but also for social justice and environmental issues. For Pete’s Sake: A Tribute to Pete Seeger is produced by Larry Long, a longtime friend to Seeger’s since the ’70s. Expect to hear familiar tunes which Seeger wrote and/or popularized such as “If I Had a Hammer,” “Where Have All the Flowers Gone,” and “Turn! Turn! Turn!” as well as writings by and about the great, gentle man, Pete Seeger.
